Lindsay L. Ziesmer: WHAT DO I SAY TODAY?

What Do I Say Today?

Should I jump into the ocean
with no where else to go?
I'm feeling like the day goes by so fast
just because you come so slow.

A tear drips down
but soon it will dry;
Tommorow will come-
I will not cry.

Do you care about tommorow?
Should I walk away today?
I am lying in a straight jacket
with nothing else to say.

Give away your love so fast-
and maybe yours will last
but tommorow he'll be gone
And he'll walk away
pulling your heart as it sings its song.

Lindsay L. Ziesmer
