Neil S. Davies: A PILGRIM'S WISH

A Pilgrim's Wish

Incandesent in my nature
and secluded by my choice
to be a mere observer
as she binds my heart forever

To be close to unbelievable
was never my intention
but awesome is the journey
that she wills for me to take.

So I went without much protest
to this land that she has willed
and i find myself a pilgrim
in the kingdom of her soul.

My heart is leaping lightly
as I trample on my way;
not man, nor beast, nor burden
shall be taking me away.
