Mary Rose Howard: LEAD ME HOME

Lead Me Home

A hateful earth,
Concealed by deception,
I remain amongst the stars of heaven,
To find my direction

Thoughts of suicide have crossed my mind,
A thousand times before;
You walk upon an endless road,
And enter Death's dark door...

But as I walk down that road,
I turn to find you there,
You know the pain that lies within,
The answer's in your stare.

This pain I thought for so many years
That I could handle alone.
But you have come and found me here;
Take my hand and lead me home.

Mary Rose Howard
