Leslie de la Haye: CHRISTMAS TIME

Christmas Time

Where have you been past Christmas time?

Did you not hear the church bells chime?

Have you not yet seen that all around

Lies deep crisp snow upon the ground?

The Holly and Ivy from ceilings hang

And late last night sweet angels sang

So many months since we saw your face

And you've been missed by every race

Now is the time for love and mirth

As it was on our dear Lord's birth

So let's join hands and let us sing

To bless the good his birth did bring

Let us loudly make that joyous call

A Merry Christmas to one and all!
